The 10-21 Police Phone app gets its name from the radio code used by police officers to indicate making a phone call. It allows you to make calls to citizens free of charge* and ensures that these calls actually get answered. By using local numbers instead of blocked ones, the app maintains the privacy of law enforcement personnel.

For example, when calling a citizen in the Miami area code (305), they will receive an incoming call from a local (305) number, regardless of your location. This significantly increases the likelihood of the citizen answering your call on the first attempt.

If a citizen wishes to return your call, instead of reaching you during your off-duty hours, they will be prompted to either "Press 1 to Request a Call Back" (via a push notification) or "Press 0 to Reach a Dispatcher" (which connects them to a non-emergency number provided by you).
