As a seasoned law enforcement professional with 20 years of experience, I have come across numerous apps that have aided me in performing my duties. However, I must say that the 10-21 Police Phone app surpasses them all, making it the best law enforcement app I have used.

Highlighted as one of the top 15 police apps for mobile and tablet devices by CriminalJusticePursuit, the 10-21 app offers a range of features for its users.

Free 10-21 app users can:

 <li>Make calls to citizens using local numbers</li>
 <li>Receive and respond to callback requests</li>
 <li>Direct citizens to dispatch for immediate assistance</li>
</ul>

For premium subscribers of the 10-21 Police Phone app:
<ul>
 <li>Outbound caller ID can be set as "LAW ENFORCEMENT"</li>
 <li>Caller ID information is displayed in callback requests</li>
 <li>An automatic follow-up message can be sent via SMS</li>
 <li>Call records are retained for the duration of the subscription</li>

The 10-21 Police Phone app gets its name from the radio code used by police officers to indicate making a phone call. It allows you to make calls to citizens free of charge* and ensures that these calls actually get answered. By using local numbers instead of blocked ones, the app maintains the privacy of law enforcement personnel.

For example, when calling a citizen in the Miami area code (305), they will receive an incoming call from a local (305) number, regardless of your location. This significantly increases the likelihood of the citizen answering your call on the first attempt.

If a citizen wishes to return your call, instead of reaching you during your off-duty hours, they will be prompted to either "Press 1 to Request a Call Back" (via a push notification) or "Press 0 to Reach a Dispatcher" (which connects them to a non-emergency number provided by you).

Upon receiving a request for a call back, you will be notified through a push notification on your phone rather than receiving a direct phone call. When convenient, simply tap the notification to initiate a call back to the citizen.

Please note that calls made through the 10-21 Police Phone app utilize a VoIP data connection and do not consume your cellular minutes. While the data used is minimal, please be aware that data usage fees from your service provider may apply.
